When you’ve orchestrated events for the Super Bowl, The Intrepid, hundreds of Fortune 500 companies and two sitting Presidents, you might think Alexandra Metz has done it all. She’s here to tell The Best Of Everything New York (TBOENY) that there’s still plenty more to do in The Big Apple. As Executive Director of Peak Events, she brings her energy and talents to New York’s stunning new event space atop Hudson Yards.
Swiss hospitality training coupled with natural Brazilian flair have made Alexandra one of the most sought-after Catering Executives in New York over the last two decades. “Flexibility and quick thinking while maintaining an upbeat and unflustered demeanor are key to event execution,” she says. Alexandra is also passionate about delivering deliciously different menus, innovative service, and brilliant attention to detail.
Alexandra’s current goal is to get her space open for business safely and securely following the COVID-19 delay. “This is such a difficult time for our industry, but we have confidence in the toughness and creativity of our associates and when the time is right, we will emerge better and stronger,” she says. After spending the last two years planning for a Spring opening, Alexandra and her team are eager to welcome guests to their new space created by renowned architect David Rockwell and managed by RHC. At the pinnacle of Hudson Yards’ tallest tower, Peak is a sleek American Restaurant, Bar & Event space with vibrant atmosphere and breathtaking views.
